Description and Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have a passion driving new business development and to provide exceptional customer service. You will be part of the end-user Relationship sales team that is responsible for the Commercial & Public Sectors in SADC.
This role forms part of a dynamic team driven by the highest discipline for success. It will also allow you to bring your entrepreneurial abilities with the flexibility and agility to empower decision making and influencing in execution of all responsibilities.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing relationships and converting leads into sustainable sales in the public sector.
Strong sales experience, preferably in the IT industry, with a university degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field being highly preferred.
Excellent technical IT product knowledge in both the end-user computing environment and the enterprise ecosystem, with a solution-selling approach.
Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining customer and partner relationships, with experience in managing senior executive relationships.
High level of experience in project management, problem-solving, and ability to identify and prioritize opportunities.
Ability to work in a diverse environment with internal and external customers, and collaborate effectively with a virtual team.
Computer literacy in MS Office suite and experience with CRM systems (preferably MSD or similar).
English and Portuguese language proficiency
Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships for the SADC region (Angola, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Madagascar and Mozambique), driving growth, and achieving revenue and wallet share targets.
Proven ability to lead account planning, opportunity identification, and conduct complex negotiations with assigned accounts.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate and coordinate solutions in a team-oriented environment.
Experienced in achieving set sales targets, including value, volume, profitability, and new customer development.
Ability to prepare action plans and schedules for sales projections and target identification.
Comfortable traveling up to 20% of the time within the country and having experience in customer-facing roles.
Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, demonstrating a target-driven mindset and a track record of fulfilling KPIs.
