About the Role
Lead in the establishment and administration of Human Resources personnel policies and practices that reflect the spirit of the Magna Employee's Charter and support our internal and external customers' requirements in a prompt, courteous and timely manner.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate functional training & development initiatives. Oversee and coordinate the daily performance of the worksite to ensure a high level of compliance in accordance with Co-Ex-Tec's policies and procedures.
Act as the primary point of contact for all legal, health and safety, personal and production related issues. Act as the primary trainer for the off shift, facilitate all needed training as required.
Lead day-to-day activities and resolve personnel issues to ensure production goals are met. Conduct workplace investigations
Bridge communication between shifts
Disability & Labour management including return to work coordination. Provide support and partner with Management on issues related to Employee Relations, Performance Management and Employee Development
Assist in administering work shortage cycles ensuring that the Company meets its customers' needs and employees are treated fairly and consistently as per Magna guidelines, legislative requirements etc.
Who we are looking for
Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in business or related field and/or Human Resources certification, preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in the Human Resources field within a manufacturing environment
Well-developed communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical abilities. Data driven and action oriented.
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work primarily on night / afternoon shifts. Flexibility in terms of working hours
Ability to work with little to no supervision.
