Purpose:
The role of an IT Technician is to support the assigned facility in the daily operations of the local network and IT hardware connected to it This position shall serve as the administrator for and provide user support of information and communication business systems, telecommunications and related issues. The main mission of the role are included in the duties and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide internal MES (manufacturing execution system) support with a customer oriented focus. Provide corrective action with efficient troubleshooting steps until every issue is resolved.
Maintain constant awareness of the monitoring system(s) in use and respond to any issues in an appropriate manner.
Complete helpdesk tickets while following all of Magna Modular System's helpdesk ticket handling guidelines.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Education/Special Knowledge:
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
A+ Certification
Experience:
Excellent communication and able to follow direction.
Customer oriented focus.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience in a manufacturing related role.
