Toolmaker 2nd shift

olmaker works to ensure all plant and facility equipment associated with the successful fabrication of product is serviced and maintained in a timely manner. The toolmaker is responsible for troubleshooting systems; performing preventive and predictive maintenance on all installed equipment to minimize downtime, while keeping safety and quality as a priority.

Your Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair, install and test new or existing equipment and verify conformance to specifications (Robot/Welding/Fixtures).

• Complete repairs, modifications and installations as required.

• Provide plant support in troubleshooting of process problems and completes quality improvements as required to maintain part standards of quality.

We are looking for a person to join our team with attention to detail and passion for problem-solving. The continuous improvement mindset and ability to effectively communicate with team members and management are essential in this role

Your preferred qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED.

Enrolled or plans to enroll (once approved program is established) in a Post-Secondary Skilled Trades or Apprenticeship program created by Magna.

Basic Knowledge of welding, fabrication or mechanical systems.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Ability and licensed to operate a forklift and aerial lift.
