Director, Enterprise Strategy

The successful candidate will become part of a high functioning team, dedicated to delivering a robust, secure, and resilient service to 60+million people every day with transactional volume of £11billion/year and total annual transactional value more than £6 Trillion.

Working directly with Business Leaders, this role will operate across multiple functions in VLL developing and strengthening our strategic focus and delivery. This will cover developing consistent identification of strategic priorities, measurement of business performance, and overseeing the business planning activities.

Key responsibilities are:
• Working with and through key executives to oversee and embed effective business planning, aligned to strategic priorities.
• Ownership and delivery, alongside the business change function, of effective business performance metrics (KPIs) across the business
• Working with executives to align Vocalink functional strategies and plans with the overall business strategy.
• Identification and analysis of key strategic issues within the business, supporting rapid and effective decision-making and communication.

About You:
• Experience from working within UK Payments industry.
• Relevant experience of working in a complex, multiple stakeholder environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a broad range of senior and junior stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Confident in engaging and directing multiple stakeholders.
• Experience of presenting and communicating to senior levels.
