    Position summary

    th Global brands. This role is within the Prepaid Management Services Engineering Team. We provide high quality evolutionary and operational capabilities to support the MasterCard Prepaid Management Services business.

    As Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the technical roadmap. You will lead teams to design, develop, and deliver high-impact software features that align with our business and technical objectives. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product owners and Technology teams, you will ensure that our solutions meet evolving customer needs while improving performance, scalability, and reliability.

    Major Accountabilities:

    • Develop Technology Design and Development Managers and Scrum Masters to provide seamless software development from Product Innovation to Customer and Systems Delivery using SAFe best practices
    • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Product, Architecture, Customer, and Systems leadership teams to facilitate seamless product delivery
    • Extensive experience in cloud and data platform architecture, DevOps, or related roles, with proven leadership of cross-functional teams
      -Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
    • Ensure service quality through rational system monitoring capability, aggressive defect management, and addressing underlying SDLC root causes
    • Provide high availability with thorough release engineering, post compatibility, independent deployment of loosely-coupled components
    • Partner with Architecture and Systems Analysis teams to ensure emergent Architecture, and system documentation are both platform-oriented and forward looking.
    • Partner with Strategic Program Management team to provide SAFe-agile delivery processes, we stay within team budgets, and to facilitate contract administration
    • Take ownership of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features
    • Ensure solutions align with Mastercard's engineering and data principles, and technical policies

    Questions about you:

    • Have you built or operated highly available, high volume transaction processing platform?
    • Are you experienced systems engineer with leadership experience, strong logic skills and superb problems solving skills?

    Desirable experience:

    • Digital Native Technologies
    • Payments Industry
    • SAFe
    • Collaborate in a geographically distributed environment
    • Experience working with Oracle, ODI, OBIEE, Kafka, Spark, Flume, Hadoop, PL/SQL, Java
    • Experience dealing multiple Database technologies and skills in data warehousing, ETL
    • Prior experience w/Business Intelligence Technologies
    • Card Processing and financial services experience (Banking/PCI)
