    This Manager will prioritize and lead product management initiatives with potential to expand Mastercard's global share of spend in underpenetrated verticals, with a focus on the bill pay and government segments. We seek a collaborative, analytical team player who can keep a close pulse on evolving ecosystem needs and ensure that our solution development pipeline and sales enablement strategies are strengthening and expanding Mastercard's position in these segments. Through engagement with external partners and many cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will develop a strong network and lean into core strengths as a product manager to expand Mastercard acceptance, modernize payments capabilities for merchants, and create better payment experiences for consumers in each region around the world.

    Responsibilities
    • Pursue development and commercialization of new innovative solutions that complement our existing capabilities and have potential to scale and secure Mastercard's role in the bill pay and government segments
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives with internal product teams and business owners, as well as regional market-facing teams and customers around the world in pursuit of scalable solutions to market challenges
    • Shape both executive-level and customer-facing narratives with strong analytic support, with the experience and the penchant to become a subject matter expert in bill pay and government segments
    • Provide subject matter expertise regarding our portfolio of solutions and industry trends for both internal and external stakeholders. With a strong market pulse, identify product opportunities and inform product management priorities
    • Maintain strong cross-functional working relationships to ensure alignment with global and regional segment product priorities
    • Support business development efforts to build customer pipeline and scale product
    • Support customer workshops and complementary programs to support sales enablement objectives

    • Experience in business development a plus
    • Experience in the bill pay (telecom, utilities, education, rent, insurance, etc.) or government collections segments a plus
