    Role

    In this position, you will:
    • Oversee the deal process from beginning to end, from developing the overall deal strategy and financial proposal to contract signature.
    • Review financial models and business cases, including, but not limited to, benchmarking against similar proposals, assessing financial impacts, identifying risks, and ensuring deals incentivize the desired behavior while safeguarding Mastercard assets.
    • Ensure successful execution of agreements by identifying and working with all relevant stakeholders.
    • Influence customer negotiations by thinking outside the box, providing sound recommendations, and recommending changes where appropriate to finalize agreements.
    • Contribute to developing and implementing long-term strategies to enhance MasterCard profitability and competitive leverage.
    • Support strategic initiatives aimed at streamlining/enhancing the deal approval process.
    • Provide ad-hoc analyses to senior management as needed.

    The ideal candidate for this position should have/be:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent experience in financial analysis and/or deal management.
    • Proficient in English and Spanish.
    • Proficiency in Excel / financial modeling.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills/ ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.
    • Strong commercial and strategic focus.
    • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
