    Position summary

    nytime in a safe, smart and simple experience. This role focuses on enhancing and modernizing the network via a suite of next-gen network products.
    A core responsibility will be driving the strategy planning and execution of the next-generation network products to broad market adoption. This includes defining product strategy, anchored in customer and market needs, aligning with senior leadership and translating that strategy into roadmaps, dependency management, and addressing operational, technical and commercial considerations required for rollout across the Asia Pacific region. The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and execution discipline.
    Success requires close cross functional collaboration with market teams, product delivery, technology teams, and customers to identify needs, shape solutions and delivery on the product roadmap. This is supported by data-driven and financial analysis, detailed understanding of the network, and clear articulation of our product value propositions to Mastercard and its customers.
    Candidates must be comfortable managing products through the various lifecycle stages, ranging from pitching concepts to pilot customers, overseeing market wide implementation, to managing product enhancements or commercials repricing.

    The role:
    Validate customer and market needs through structured market team engagements and customer socialization.
    Drive execution of next-generation network products to broader market adoption, ensuring operational, technical, and commercial readiness at scale.
    Develop go-to-market and rollout strategies, including target markets or customers, customer communications, and economic or pricing considerations.
    Act as a primary point of contact across regions, markets, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on execution plans and success metrics
    Build strong working relationships across technology, operations, and market delivery teams to drive alignment and execution.
    Develop clear narratives and visuals to communicate strategy, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership and key decision-makers
    Influence global product direction and prioritization by representing regional needs, constraints, and opportunities.
    Perform data analysis to size problems / opportunities, evaluate potential costs and revenues, understand geographic variation and customer behavior, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    Identify and validate alternative strategies to address those needs, with customer, business, technical, franchise, and legal input as needed.

    The candidate:
    Prior experience in payments is strongly preferred
    Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently and thrive in fast-paced environments.
    Confident and concise presenter, comfortable with pitching Mastercard's network products to internal stakeholders and external clients alike.
    Willingness to dive deep and learn about Mastercard's technology, core network structure and rules.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong data and financial analysis skills and experience.
    Superior communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
    Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization and the ability to produce clear, compelling slides.
    Strong project management skills with strong organization and task management.
    Strong collaborator, ability to work cross-functionally.
    Ability to interact with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients; ability to lead and influence at all levels.
