    Position summary

evolution of data‑driven products for financial institutions, including banks and payment providers.
This role sits directly below Product Manager and is ideal for someone with 4-6 years of overall experience who is already working in product environments and wants to grow into a full Product Manager role over time.
You will work closely with Product Managers to execute against an existing product strategy, translate requirements into delivery‑ready artifacts, and help drive launches and iterations. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role, not a senior or strategic product leadership position.
This role does not own overall product strategy or P&L and does not manage people.
    What You Will Do
As a Product Specialist, you will:
Support Product Managers in translating defined product strategy and objectives into clear, actionable product requirements.
Contribute to roadmaps and backlogs by preparing input, refining user stories, and supporting prioritization decisions under PM guidance.
Own day‑to‑day product execution tasks, ensuring requirements are clear, understood, and delivered as intended.
Write and maintain functional requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and basic workflows.
Act as a first point of contact for engineering to clarify requirements, answer questions, and surface dependencies or risks.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Support product launches by contributing to documentation, release notes, internal enablement, and go‑to‑market coordination.
Gather feedback from internal stakeholders (sales, support, operations) and synthesize insights for Product Managers.
Help improve product documentation and operational processes to support scale and consistency.
    What This Role Is Not
To set expectations clearly, this role:
Does not define long‑term product vision independently
Does not own portfolio‑level strategy or pricing decisions
Does not manage other team members
Is not a senior or lead Product Manager role
    Required Experience & Profile
We are intentionally targeting candidates with mid‑level experience who want to deepen their product execution skills.
You are a good fit if you have:
4-6 years of total professional experience, with at least 2-4 years in product management, product operations, business analysis, consulting, or a similar role.
Hands‑on experience contributing to software or data product delivery in a cross‑functional environment.
Practical experience writing or supporting product requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications).
Exposure to at least one part of the product lifecycle (discovery, delivery, launch, or iteration).
Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort working across engineering, design, and commercial teams.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn through feedback and mentorship.
    Nice to have (not mandatory):
Experience in payments, financial services, merchant solutions, or APIs
    Familiarity with agile development practices
    Why This Role
Clear growth path into a Product Manager role
Close mentorship from experienced Product Managers
Exposure to real‑world financial institution products at scale
Strong balance of ownership without senior‑level pressure
