    Position summary

    other technical teams to continuously improve and enhance our existing products and drive new products to the global marketplace. We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Systems Analysts position.

    • The role of the PM-T (Product Manager - Technical) will be to provide ongoing technical expertise and support to the development lifecycles of MasterCard products and ancillary applications.
    • The PM-T will partner with business owners and technology teams to ensure that business and functional requirements are appropriately aligned with Operations and Technology.
    • The PM-T may focus in various stages of the overall product maturity and project cycle.
    • The PM-T will be responsible for playing a true Product Owner role, participate in 3-amigos model to write technical stories with BDD acceptance criteria

    Here are some of the responsibilities we expect this role to carry -
    1.Understand the business needs from market facing product management team
    2.Device a solution strategy that works within product framework.
    3.Coordinate with architect/UX/ tech leads to firm up the solution strategy and build prototypes. Gather feedback on those from Product and engineering teams by conducting walkthroughs.
    4.Be innately curious to understand technical aspects of solution design.
    5.Own backlog creation with well formatted INVEST compliant stories.
    6.Coordinate with QA and write acceptance criteria using automation friendly syntaxes
    7.Act as liaison between customer facing PM and technology teams and shield developers from ad-hoc queries/meetings etc.
    8.Accept story delivery by verifying output.
    9.Build release notes documents and shepherd production releases.
    10.Be the face of the product for all the internal stakeholders holders
    11.Initiate and participate in navigating external dependencies and use influence and collaboration for success

    In terms of skills and experience, we would also add -
    1.SQL/NoSQL hands-on skill is expected.
    2.Understanding of RSET is also expected.
    3.Experience of working in fast paced environment
    4.Experience of working with Engineering teams that have applied microservice based platform/product architectures to products
    5.Excellent knowledge of JIRA, Agile Scrum processes
    6.Scrum Product owner certification should be mandatory.

    Knowledge/Experience:
    • Solid technical knowledge and capability
    . Ability to write Stories in a BDD way brining out all the clarity and following all the best practices.
    • Demonstration of MC Core Competencies
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education

    Skills/Abilities:
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • High-energy, detailed-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships
    . Ability to write good SQLs and good to have Technical knowledge on Enterprise application development
