Role:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-phase projects related to regulatory initiatives across the Americas region.
• Act as the primary liaison between project sponsors, senior leaders, and contributing teams to ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and timelines.
• Proactively identify roadblocks, manage risk mitigation efforts, and ensure timely communication of key decisions and status updates to stakeholders.
• Track and report on project KPIs, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring transparency and accountability across the program lifecycle.
• Champion and enforce Mastercard's project management methodologies and standards, escalating issues as needed for resolution.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional team activities, ensuring each member understands their responsibilities and contribution to the project.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing insights into processes, standards, and new product delivery strategies.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the delivery team, aligning efforts with business objectives and ensuring agility in execution.
All About You:
• Proven expertise in technical program and project management, with experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of the Agile framework; Scrum or SAFe certification is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure project management, ideally with exposure to database systems.
• Familiarity with program management methodologies; PMP or PgMP certification is desire.
• Skilled in breaking down high-level requirements into detailed functional and non-functional requirements with minimal oversight.
• Confident with interface specifications, running queries, and conducting high-level technical analysis to drive discussions effectively.
• Previous experience working within Mastercard or deep understanding of Mastercard's infrastructure and regulatory environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization and work effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Highly organized and adept at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Proven experience working with multiple global stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
• English proficiency is required, as it involves regular communication with global teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
