    Current Need: We are seeking a Transportation Compliance Specialist for international logistics to join our team in either Jacksonville, FL or Richmond, VA. Our ideal preferred candidate will currently be located within one of these two locations. .

    Job Summary: The Transportation Compliance Specialist will be responsible for utilizing various systems to identify and report any issues related to shipment clearance and Customs, F.D.A., or O.G.A.s, to management with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and thoroughness. The main purpose of this position will be to assist the Cypress Medical Products international transportation team evaluate options for dealing with supply chain challenges and to ensure that established compliance standards are maintained. This role is also expected to work with various teams, both internal and external to McKesson, as well as communicate directly with Customs, F.D.A., or O.G.A.s as necessary to facilitate timely clearance. The candidate will be expected to communicate in a professional and courteous manner as well as adhere to expectations of a normal office environment. This position has the ability to work from home when not required by management to be in the office.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 4+ years of relevant experience

    Preferred Critical Skills:

    • Minimum 2 years' experience in international logistics

    • Minimum 2 years' experience working with a customs broker

    • Strong working knowledge of customs entry documentation

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

    • Capable of working with a variety of supply chain visibility tools

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience with FDA procedures and protocols

    • Experience with CTPAT procedures and protocols preferred

    Additional Skills:

    • Motivated self-starter with excellent organization in managing competing priorities

    • Strong communication with both internal and external business partners

    • Deadline driven with strong communication and timely follow up

    Education:

    • 4-year degree strongly preferred

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $64,500 - $107,500
