Schedule: Monday through Friday 5am Start
Key Responsibilities include:
Leading a group of Private Fleet Delivery Professionals with various work hours
Daily routing of deliveries and ensuring timely shipments
Loading and securing truck shipments
Maintaining dock security and cleanliness
Managing fleet maintenance and ensuring readiness
Handling weekly payroll for direct reports and managing scheduling.
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.
Critical Skills
Experience working in a distribution environment or similar setting
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
Ability to travel approximately 20%.
Valid driver license with clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) which may be required to occassionaly drive our company vehicles.
Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel.
Ability to effectively learn computer systems such as E1, RoadNet, XRS, Element, Comdata, etc.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Proven track record in training, developing, and mentoring others.
Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience with Roadnet, a leading transportation routing software, to optimize delivery operations.
Familiarity with E1, an enterprise resource planning system, is a definite plus for streamlined logistics management.
Physical Requirements
May have to drive out to assist with a breakdown.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
