CREDIT RISK
What you'll do in the role:
The Credit Risk Management Department (CRM) provides independent oversight of the Firm's credit risks and acts as the guardian of the Firm's capita by evaluating credit risk transactions, reporting on credit risk exposures to the CRO / senior management, ultimately helping to mitigate credit risk in business decisions.
• A comprehensive hands-on introduction to Financial Services and Risk Management.
• In-depth experience to Credit Risk Management and Counterparty Credit Risk Portfolio exposure analysis involving metrics like Potential Future Exposure, Stressed Current Exposure etc., to support the Firm's risk management for Traded Products (bilateral OTC, SFT, CCP), Prime Brokerage, Client Clearing and other business lines.
• Working closely with global risk management teams, conducting recurring/ad-hoc analysis covering global markets, macro and geo-political events for Sector/Industry deep dives, Tall Trees, Concentration Risk, Tail Risk, Credit Limit Monitoring and special areas like Affiliate Risk, Margin Calls analysis, Wrong Way Risk, etc.
• Opportunities to take on meaningful and challenging projects with real day-to-day impact. Intern will receive on-the-job training, a peer buddy, senior leader mentorship, networking opportunities and interaction with the senior management of the division.

LIQUIDITY RISK
What you'll do in the role:
The Liquidity Risk Management Department (LRD) provides independent oversight of the Firm's liquidity risks and acts as the guardian of the Firm's funding and liquidity by evaluating liquidity risk transactions, reporting on liquidity risk metrics to the CRO / senior management, ultimately helping to mitigate liquidity risk in business decisions.
• In-depth exposure to Liquidity & Funding Risk Management
• Working closely with global risk management teams, conducting recurring/ad-hoc analysis
• Opportunities to take on meaningful and challenging projects with real day-to-day impact
• Intern will receive on-the-job training, a peer buddy, senior leader mentorship, networking opportunities and interaction with the senior management of the division

This will be achieved through one or more of the following activities:
• Identifying, assessing and monitoring liquidity risks related to the Firm's business activities
• Maintaining active dialogue with business units, Corporate Treasury, risk management colleagues, and other groups regarding business strategies, risk representation, and limit compliance
• Preparing and presenting briefings for/to senior management on key risk issues
• Conduct analysis on key risk areas and communicate results with relevant stakeholders
• Innovate ways to identify key risks/concentrations and implement processes to actively monitor these risks
• Assist, as needed, with the review and challenge of stress models
What you'll bring to the role:
• Effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Both written and verbally
• Ability to synthesize complex data sets and problems and conceptualize appropriate solutions
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed way in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide information in usable formats
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience using SQL to create queries for extracting and analyzing data
