    Position summary

    a professional services environment. Assume other responsibilities as required. 4-year degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a quantitative field. 2-4 years of industry experience. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of both traditional asset management and alternatives investments (derivatives, fixed income, cash equities, mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity). Understanding of basic accounting principles - ability to interpret performance impact of various transactions and corporate actions. Asset management performance calculation knowledge. Understanding of attribution theory and practice. Possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to handle a heavy, deadline-oriented workload. Advanced knowledge of Excel, including designing, creating, and maintaining complex spreadsheets, power queries, reports, and charts. High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency. Must possess a high level of initiative. Familiarity with FactSet, Bloomberg, Barra, and other analysis tools is a plus. Python, SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) desired. Ability to think strategically and build on system capabilities. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to excel independently and in ambiguous situations. Ability to maintain productivity and strong work ethic under minimal supervision. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
