The individual will perform functions to support continuous implementation of privacy rules impacting WM, with a focus on project management. The individual will challenge the status-quo to uncover and realize efficiencies and work to enable consistent improvement.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Engage with development squads, internal Subject Matter Experts, and other functional teams to deliver required processes and privacy infrastructure capabilities
Identify and document business requirements, translating them to actionable user stories
Participate in Agile ceremonies and testing to ensure management of requirement solutions and dependency deliverables
Work with all functional disciplines impacted by projects to ensure end-to-end planning is comprehensive and results met are aligned to the stated goals of the project
Closely partner with internal stakeholders to appropriately identify privacy risks and associated controls for remediation and escalation
Liaise with various business units to gather inputs on data use and understand operational needs
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics based on team activities and corresponding communication with key stakeholders
Track and document the implementation of recommended mitigation measures
Review, update, and maintain relevant privacy procedures and related procedures
Develop and maintain business process models
Propose and design technical and process solutions
Succinctly communicate ideas, recommendations, articulate purge results to business and influence decision making at the level of Senior Leadership
Identify opportunities for internal team efficiency gains and support the development and maintenance of team procedures, risk management tools and data repositories Qualifications:
Experience in Financial Services, preferably within privacy risk disciplines (e.g. privacy impact assessments, data & processing mapping, individual rights)
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently (candidate should be self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills)
Ability to work in a small team environment, build and maintain a network of contacts and coordinate with many stakeholders
Understanding of Agile principles and practices, such as Scrum
Solid interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications are required
Ability to design and develop presentations to conceptualize results and present them clearly and concisely for key stakeholders and senior management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure to tight deadlines and excels at planning and time management
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Expertise in all MS Office tools, including Power Point, Excel, Project and Visio
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations
Data Privacy Risk or Operations background with ability to apply privacy principles
Relevant professional certifications such as CIPM, CAPM, etc.
