    ob family responsible for providing specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, and optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role: * Work with multiple Business Departments and IT teams to deliver required objectives including but not limited to: Data product development, reporting related tasks, documentation, data warehouse development, data quality related tasks, visualisation, problem analysis, integration of data and components, delivery of code, performance analysis and tuning, testing, security validation, debugging, user support, AI and ML based solutions, data cleaning and other maintenance activities, related operational tasks, etc. * Participate in releases, operations and maintenance as applicable to the team and project(s) - occasionally in the weekend and off hours also * If applicable for the level of seniority, participates in design and selection of solutions, and leading of engineering teams. * Adhere and uphold legal requirements, policy, functional and non-functional requirements during delivery * Ensures that data and operational security and governance requirements are implemented and observed and when in doubt raises concern to manager or appropriate forum * Document, maintain and improvement of product and business knowledge and related processes to make it accessible to all who requires and for future reference * Actively and proactively identify risk, highlight issues and participate in their resolution * Provides timely update of status and issues to team, delivery management and management hierarchy * If applicable, Ensures that managed resources deliver according to requirements and policy, provide support and oversight during the delivery to said resources * Carry out tasks related to the job in accordance with the instructions of the supervisorWhat you'll bring to the role: * At least 3 years of hands on experience in any of such roles: Data Engineer, Technology business analyst , ETL developer, Data integrator, Reporting analyst, etc. * Strong SQL knowledge and deep understanding of data warehousing concepts is a must and are core skills * Python and Shell scripting knowledge with function relevant understanding on infrastructure related topics (e.g. authentication) * Ability to work with visualisation tools is a plus * MongoDB, SingleStore, or Kafka### #LI-FT1 #BPTECH #LI-hybridWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
