As part of the Data & Analytics Group (DAG) and the Head of the India DAG locally, the individual is responsible for the following - Collaborate with stakeholders across IM and Firm Data Center of Excellence to develop and deliver on the overarching data governance strategy. Coordinate the onboarding of data into the Firm Data Catalog i.e., FDC (Collibra). Implement strategy for a unified data governance platform to manage data governance. Maintain business metadata including ownership, business glossary, data quality rules, traceability, and issues workflow across the organization in FDC. Work closely with Data Owners/Owner delegates on the issue analysis and development data quality (DQ) rules. Work with IT on enhancing DQ platforms. Monitor DQ metrics and work/ follow up with Business Users on exceptions. End-to-end analysis of business processes, data flows, and data usage to improve business productivity through re-engineering and data governance. Interact with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and address data-related needs and issues. Manage development of business requirements and use cases for data-related projects. Manage change control process and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. Track resolution of data issues and help stakeholders, where required with root cause and formulating corrective solution. Work on various MSIM data initiatives representing DAG as a key subject matter expert and resource on Data Governance Support other DAG initiatives like Data Onboarding and Analytics
