Position Summary:
Wealth Management (WM) Privacy Risk is responsible for driving privacy implementation strategies and governance for the WM business line. The team is looking for a professional to join the Privacy Risk Department and report to the Executive Director for Privacy Framework & Change Management. This role will focus on the Firmwide Purge Program in accordance with data lifecycle management and retention policies. It will include data analysis to assess scope and impact, execution management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage acceleration dependencies and timelines for stakeholder purge workstreams
Perform data analysis to prioritize purge patches and validated execution with reconciliation reports, and track remediation activities to completion
Establish strong working relationships with partners across business units and Wealth Management functions to support alignment of Wealth Management Strategic Initiatives
Engage with development squads, internal Subject Matter Experts, and other functional teams to deliver required processes and privacy infrastructure capabilities
Work with all functional disciplines impacted by projects to ensure end-to-end planning is comprehensive and results met are aligned to the stated goals of the project
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics based on privacy rules management activities and corresponding communication with key stakeholders
Succinctly communicate ideas, recommendations, articulate results to business and, influence decision making at the level of Senior Leadership
Review, update, and maintain relevant privacy supervisory procedures by documenting requirements and process flows for enhancements to batch jobs, volume testing, and perform user acceptance testing
Required Skills:
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently (candidate should be self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills)
Solid interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, are required
Ability to design and develop presentations to conceptualize results, and present them clearly and concisely for key stakeholders and Senior Management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure and to tight deadlines and excels at planning and time management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (critical thinking ability)
Expertise in all MS Office tools, including Power Point, Excel, Project, and Visio
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Skills:
Financial Industry experience with Data Privacy Risk or Operations background and ability to apply privacy principles
Relevant professional certifications such as CIPM, etc
Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams
