group of Specialists focus on the HNW tax suite of solutions including but not limited to; Customized SMA's in Equity and Fixed income, long short strategies, the Exchange fund, derivatives, and charitable solutions.
The Wealth Strategy Specialist is responsible for representation of product distribution within Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Family Offices in the southeast region. Collaborating closely with Relationship Managers, Regional Rep Counterparts, marketing, and additional internal resources, the Wealth Strategy Specialist owns client experience for WSG related products within their territory, ensuring the highest level of service and client satisfaction. Act in a consultative manner with sophisticated Advisors in implementing advanced strategies, increasing AUM of major RIA and Family Office clients.
Responsibilities
Responsible for representation of product distribution at RIAs and Family Offices within the Southeast Region - CO, NM, TX, KS, OK, MO, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, WV, KY & TN
Product Subject Matter Expert across customized portfolios, tax management and specialized strategies. Products include but not limited to: Parametric Equity and Income SMA's, long short strategies, Derivatives, EV Exchange Funds, EV Charitable solutions.
Identify client needs and coordinate efforts to service assigned advisors.
Provide technical and sales support when possible and partner with Eaton Vance wholesalers inside territory footprint.
Exhibit proficiency in meeting with advisors and their largest clients.
Conduct strategy training meetings at branch and regional level for advisors and regional management of partner firms.
Work in conjunction with an Internal Specialist to fulfill the business plan for the territory.
Understand and follow the Strategy Specialist guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years financial services experience, with 5 years of sales experience preferred.
Strong technical background and familiarity in advanced investment strategies for HNW clients.
FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66 required
Additional investment designations such as CFP and CAIA strongly preferred.
Highly motivated and a self-starter with proven leadership skills.
Proven ability to work independently with measurable results in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in communicating esoteric and complex strategies.
Ability to drive results, positively influence and leverage relationships.
Must be able, when requested, to work collaboratively with other EV wholesalers or specialists.
Must be able to handle consistently active rotation and frequent travel schedule.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must be extremely motivated and have demonstrated sales success and job performance.
Must be comfortable with technology.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
