    nd the business development functions for our branch network. The team is responsible for driving revenue growth nationally across all product areas excluding banking.The Fixed Income Product Specialist (FIS) sits within the Field and Client Business Development group and seeks to provide comprehensive coverage of all FI solutions. The team specializes in separately managed accounts. With a product agnostic lens, the team partners with CG ADs, and respective business partners to drive and retain assets across managed solutions. Working directly with FAs/PWAs, the specialist will help allocate Fixed Income to meet unique client needs. The Fixed Income Specialist must strategically drive and coordinate sales activity in a manner that is consistent with Morgan Stanley's values and well-aligned with clients' individual objectives.Key Responsibilities: * Serve as a subject matter expert across managed FI solutions for MSWM FAs/PWAs and clients, with the ability to articulate portfolio strategy, investment philosophy, macro and asset class views * Provide advice and guidance to FAs/PWAs to develop and implement holistic and customized FI solutions for clients, to create scale and efficiency for their business * Develop a deep understanding of MSWM Investment Products as well as 3rd party managed Fixed Income SMAs * Work directly with sales leadership to drive new investment flows and retain existing business * Partner with regional and market management to establish market specific plans to drive long-term FI investment flows * Provide direct advice and support for FAs/PWAs on large prospect opportunities and existing client reviews * Actively participate in meetings with current client and prospectsKnowledge and Skills Required: * Active Series 7, and 66 (or 63 and 65) required upon hire or within 120 days of hire date * 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a sales/trade, portfolio management or investment specialist type role * Deep understanding of fixed income products and markets * Strong comprehension of platforms and familiarity of investment vehicles * Strong oral and written communication skills and has exhibited the ability to clearly articulate firm strategy, views and recommendations * Familiarity with Morgan Stanley's branch network and Financial Advisors * Executive presenceWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
