rse group of clients. We are recruiting and sales and relationship management person to cover a defined group of corporate and municipal clients across a 17 state territory anchored in California. The qualified candidate will execute a dual focused strategy focused on new business development alongside client retention and growth. The sales and relationship management efforts will focus on CashInvest platform (a MMF and cash management portal) and the supporting fund and separate account solutions. The position is supported by a dedicated sales desk, product management group, and cross-divisional sales team. The primary functional responsibilities are as follows: Proactively manage and grow existing client relationships Develop a ground-up sales/business development plan for a defined group of corporate and municipal prospects across the geography Coordinate closely with MS Investment Banking and Capital Markets Coordinate and partner as needed with the existing San Fran based Large Market sales person Develop and organize marketing opportunities within the territory Undertake a disciplined territory management effort Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Deep knowledge of the corporate treasury and cash management space Sales experience preferred - desire to sell and build relationships required Knowledge of the money markets and liquidity funds Travel required Excellent communication skills Have or obtain Series 7 license The position is based on the West Coast and we are flexible on the office location. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
