    What you'll do in the role:

    • Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
    • Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
    • Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
    • Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
    • Review and validation of client tax reporting statements (1099, 1042-S, PR 480 Series, etc.) to ensure accuracy
    • Reconciliation of Chapter 61, 3, 4 (FATCA) withholding tax to client tax reporting and Year-End income reallocation on 1099/1042s reporting
    • Assist with business requirement and testing of new and enhancement initiatives related to tax reporting

    What you'll bring to the role:

    • Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
    • Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
    • Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
    • 1-2 years' working experience in financial or banking operations desirable
    • Analytical, critical thinking and proficiency in Microsoft suite

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60K and $90K / yr at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
