    across WM and ISG by offering lending solutions, cash management, and deposit products to deepen client relationships.

    The U.S Banks Strategy and Execution team's primary mission is to partner across the organization to evaluate, design, and lead the execution of Bank's key initiatives and growth plans. We also manage important Bank governance activities by coordinating the development of the annual Strategy & Business Plans; conduct competitor analysis, benchmarking, and reporting to Bank leadership; support project execution in partnership with the Program Management Office (PMO) team; and administration through our Business Management function.

    We are recruiting an individual who is an inquisitive and strategic thinker with a passion for uncovering, defining, and executing new growth initiatives for the Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks across the Advisor, Workplace, and E*TRADE self-directed channels. This role will report to the Executive Director on the U.S. Banks Strategy and Execution team.

    Position Summary

    The primary responsibilities for this role will be to:

    • Assist in the identification, business case development, design, and implementation of Bank strategic initiatives.

    • Partner with Bank Product, Sales, Digital, Finance, Treasury, Analytics, Marketing, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Sourcing, and the Program Management Office teams, and other business units, to evaluate and implement strategic initiatives.

    • Conduct market research, competitor research and data analysis to drive insights and inform recommendations and action plans.

    • Synthesize relevant content to develop concise and effective presentations for Senior Leadership.

    • Assist in program / project management of strategic initiatives delivery and go to market execution.

    • Develop governance materials and presentations for Bank Committees and the Board.

    Experience:

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with participation in the bank and/or brokerage segments preferred;

    • Effective relationship building skills and the ability to work in a matrixed, collaborative organization;

    • Strong sense of personal ownership and accountability for self and the team;

    • Ability to connect dots across disparate data, business lines, and market trends to uncover emerging opportunities or hidden risks;

    • Understands how to translate strategy into execution, with the ability to identify roadblocks and shape practical solutions;

    • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines in a fast paced, demanding work environment;

    • Self-starter who learns quickly and is attentive to detail;

    • Proactively seeks out new ideas, technologies and approaches to deepen strategic insight and thoughtfully challenge conventional thinking;

    • Excellent writing and presentation development skills that can take complex concepts and create concise narratives for presentation and discussion;

    • Experience with the use of data visualization, business intelligence and generative AI tools preferred, but not required;

    • Highly proficient with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with financial statement analysis; and

    • BS/BA required
