Primary Responsibilities
This individual will cover Fixed Income business activity under the MS Brazil Conglomerate on the following:
Compliance advisory to businesses and supporting areas
Oversight of the employee licenses and certification process
Development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
Development and delivery of compliance training
Development and execution of compliance surveillance, monitoring and testing programs
Preparation of compliance reports and metrics
Assistance with the review and approval processes of new products
Tracking of regulatory developments, inquiries and exams
Assistance with the preparation of Compliance risk assessments and reports
Support and facilitation of communications and interactions with local regulators
Skills required (essential)
Experience in local financial markets, preferably in Fixed Income products (e.g. public bonds, FX, derivatives), mostly in Compliance department
Strong knowledge of Brazilian financial market laws and rules
Ability to work in a challenging environment and multi-platform business
Ability to balance Compliance risks and manage business expectations
Hands on, self-starter and self-motivated
Strong verbal and written communications skills (Portuguese and English)
