Participate and/or oversee recruiting, on-boarding and initial training of team members
Collaborate with Manager on budget, purchasing, tracking and records retention for business expenses
Consult with team members to determine development goals for continual growth in technical, soft and leadership skills
Assist in leading team to achieve and maintain product, service and business goals, including cross servicing of Navy Federal products and services
Analyze reports and conduct trend analysis to optimize business performance
Lead and train the team to deliver quality member service to our members
Ensure compliance with all security, safety and emergency preparedness procedures
Ensure compliance with all HR related policies, practices and procedures, such as timekeeping, recruiting, compensation, separations, leave usage, etc.
Ensure the team follows, complies with and regularly reviews all required policies, practices and procedures
Perform supervisory/managerial responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Three years' experience in grade level 76 (or higher) or applicable external experience
Scorecard criteria requirements as defined by Branch Operations Governance or applicable external experience
Advanced knowledge of applicable federal regulations governing consumer lending and/or credit cards, mortgage and equity loans, savings and checking accounts
Advanced knowledge of multiple financial products such as consumer mortgage loan, credit cards, and/or savings/checking accounts
Advanced knowledge of functions relating to cash and ATM operations
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment
Exposure to managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment
Exposure to developing/maintaining community and command relations
Experience in member/customer service operations
Experience in responding to requests regarding complex financial information/data
Experience in supervising and leading employees
Working knowledge of retail banking industry best practices
Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
Advanced skill interacting with staff, management, vendors and members diplomatically and tactfully
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Familiarity with financial institution and lending practices, principles and regulations
Familiarity with retail banking industry best practices
Hours: Available Monday - Friday: hours based on business needs.
Location: Bldg. 37 nner Loop Road, Fort Irwin, CA 92310
Based upon business needs, this position may require working at or transferring permanently to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.
