yze budget execution, reports variances and recommends adjustments to support business needs, goals and objectives
Contribute to preparation of Annual Financial Plan (AFP)
Drive operational efficiency through evaluation of team's workflow, quality and output to continuously improve design, development and implementation of training efforts
Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and industry laws, Navy Federal policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines
Partner across Learning & Development to analyze and implement programs, practices, and learning content which support our talent strategies and development efforts
Partner with Navy Federal leaders and business units to assess learning and development needs, identifying gaps in the organization, and in developing and deploying workable solutions
Assist in leading and provide support to drive high visibility projects in areas related to learning and development (e.g. technical training, onboarding and immersion, career pathing, performance management, etc.)
Assist in leading ongoing program coordination, evaluation, improvement, and refinement including researching and assessing best practices and alternative approaches
Develop, monitor, improve, and communicate training metrics and analytics to provide insights into training opportunities
Research, gather and synthesize data and when applicable present conclusions and recommendations to leadership
Stay abreast of industry trends and standards and integrate best practices into processes and workflow
Contribute to development of strategic plans, tactics and goals for the division
Oversee, evaluate, and suggest modifications to the training catalog to ensure organizational needs are met
Partner across Learning & Development on projects and programs requiring a multi-faceted approach
Collaborate within the training community to support information sharing and implementation of best practices
Support team's recruiting and selection needs by participating in hiring panels for positions throughout Learning & Development
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Expertise in three or more of the following: project/program management, program evaluation, talent development/management, training, adult education, human capital, communications, organizational development, instructional design (ID)
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Demonstrated expertise in managing and developing others, including leaders
Experience managing multiple resources through complex projects to achieve desired results
Ability and passion for finding solutions to problems and helping others
Ability to effectively work in complex, sensitive, and ambiguous situations
Ability to learn and combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands on application
Ability to work and collaborate with all levels of management (including executives), staff and vendors
Ability to think strategically, adapt quickly and exhibit excellent communication skills
Demonstrated skill in presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management
Strong consulting, analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or similar filed, or the equivalent combination of experience, education and training
Desired Qualifications
Graduate of Navy Federal's Management Toolbox and Leading Leaders
Strong command of Navy Federal operations, processes and procedures
Experience working with advanced presentation software suites
Professional certifications including: human resources, coaching, project management and / or evaluation (e.g., PMP), instructional design, talent, training, or IT
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Masters, etc.) in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or similar
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM hybrid (3x week)
