    Position summary

    product backlog; refine and prioritize user stories based on business value and member impact.

    • Translate program vision into actionable requirements and workflows; ensure conceptual and technical integrity.

    • Partner with internal and external partners to integrate usability studies, user research, and market analysis into product requirements.

    • Write requirements and define editorial workflow for business owner projects.

    • Assist with the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.

    • Direct and develop cross departmental and highly visible complex projects and assign tasks.

    • Conduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutions.

    • Analyze product usage and practical data to determine changes in prioritization and feature enhancements.

    • Serve as a change agent, promoting innovation and continuous improvement across the product team.

    • Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation for lending technology solutions.

    • Coordinate integration of solutions with existing applications; ensure compatibility and scalability.

    • Develop test plans, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) when applicable, and manage release readiness.

    • Apply change management principles to ensure smooth adoption of new features and processes.

    • Mentor junior analysts and provide expert consulting for complex issues.

    • Stay current with technology trends, regulatory impacts, and industry best practices.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

    • 5+ years in systems analysis or business analysis within financial services.

    • Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or Experience Owner in an Agile environment.

    • Hands-on knowledge of nCino and Salesforce platform capabilities (configuration, workflows, reporting).

    • Strong understanding of commercial lending processes (origination, servicing, compliance).

    • Extensive experience with advanced knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques in program development.

    • Expertise in requirements gathering, process design, and solution documentation.

    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management tools (ADO, JIRA).

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive consensus across technical and business teams.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Ability to learn different collaboration or product management tools quickly.

    • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    • Advanced skills identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions

    • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, App Builder, or nCino LOS experience).

    • Experience with DevOps and change management processes.

    • Knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, and regulatory requirements.

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders verbally and in writing.

    • Experience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impact.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Background in technology or entrepreneurship.

    • Advanced knowledge of credit union operations, commercial and small business lending processes and procedures.

    • Working knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, operations, systems and organizational objectives
