ysical security plans to ensure the safety of NFCU's campuses in Pensacola
Lead Global Security team, which is responsible for alarm responses, conducting abusive member, fraud-ring, employee investigations, and coordination with law enforcement
Manage the enterprise insurance relationship with CUNA Mutual, and the process for employee background checks
Serve as team leader during disaster/business continuity events; prioritize tasks to be performed and authorize appropriate actions
Manage and direct operations to ensure service level agreements and corporate objectives are met
Develop and oversee training programs for staff to promote security awareness and ensure the effective application of security procedures; evaluate training programs to ascertain effectiveness
Develop relationships with other business units, external law enforcement agencies, vendors, and other financial institutions to develop contacts for investigations, support, information sharing, and communication
Monitor work environment and direct allocation of resources to ensure adequate staffing to meet production and member service standards
Oversee local security contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements
Identify physical security issues and conduct root cause analyses; take appropriate action to resolve issues
Advise Physical Security Site operations team on construction and physical security requirements in Pensacola
Perform post-project analyses to measure the effectiveness of new physical security and safety programs
Identify and resolve operational and performance gaps and obstacles related to physical security
Lead change management efforts, cross-functional initiatives and department/organization projects
Develop, recommend, and implement new/updated policies, procedures, goals and priorities for the branch as necessitated by demands, changing conditions, or management request
Monitor internal processes and perform quality control audits to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and NFCU policies and procedures
Prepare reports and make presentations to senior management, including Greater Pensacola Executive Leadership Team
Provide forward thinking and technical expertise in current and emerging technologies, trends and practices
Research, gather and synthesize data; present conclusions and recommendations to management
Maintain thorough knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations and NFCU policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
Expert knowledge of the design, installation and operation of security systems and related equipment
Extensive progressively responsible experience leading and managing a multi-functional and multi-location security operation, preferably in a large financial institution
Extensive experience collaborating across organizational boundaries and building partnerships across functions
Extensive experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders and vendors
Extensive experience managing cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects of the highest complexity which have business risk and impact
Advanced knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling
Advanced knowledge of change management principles and practices
Extensive experience supervising and leading employees
Expert skill summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results or relationships
Expert skill reading and interpreting schedules, directions, blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings
Expert skill maintaining composure in a stressful and changing environment
Expert skill interacting with staff, management, vendors and members diplomatically and tactfully
Expert skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
Expert organizational, planning and time management skills
Expert research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Expert skill using innovative thinking to solve problems and facilitate the decision making process
Expert skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions
Advanced skill developing and implementing programs in a leadership role
Expert verbal and written communication skills
Advanced database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills
Master's degree in Security Management, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Required - Valid State of Residence Driver's License

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM ( on-site, not a hybrid position )
