and section staff using various communications channels
Coordinate with NFFG training group on initial and ongoing team training to include but not limited to regulatory documents, Brokerage Operations Policies and Procedures manual, computer application, NFCU/NFFG Grams, office instructions, and brochures
Maintain knowledge of new corporate initiatives and investment services industry developments; disseminate pertinent information about new projects to team members
Maintain, apply, and communicate advanced knowledge of regulations and practices Build collaborative relationships and ensure effective and productive working relationships with branch management, vendors and ETS staff to support other business activities and share information
Gather and prepare data for various financial, compliance and internal reports
Develop reports summarizing performance results, skills assessments, and training needs Perform supervisory duties:
Select employees, prepare, and conduct performance appraisals, coach, and counsel staff, and oversee employee training and development
Sets staff priorities, schedules, reviews, and monitors work to ensure timely achievement of objectives, standards, and priorities
Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, policies, procedures, rules, regulations, Navy Federal values, etc.
Practice effective pay and rewards management in accordance with specified Navy Federal objectives and guidelines
Recommend equipment and staffing needs for inclusion in Annual Financial Plan (AFP)
Ensure continuing skills development, mentoring and retention of staff
Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Progressive leadership or supervisory experience leading projects or directing work to achieve goals
Working knowledge of financial, brokerage and insurance services, products, policies and procedures
Working knowledge of knowledge of federal, state, local and industry regulation affecting financial institutions to include Broker/Dealer
Upon selection for this position, will be expected to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 24 (and NASAA Series 63 and 65 or 66 in states where required) registration and Life & Health Insurance License within 120 days
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Desired - Bachelor's Degree in business, Finance, Insurance, Management or Training
Desired - Supervisory experience in a financial services organization, preferably in brokerage services
