    Position summary

    Collaborating cross-functionally, you will evaluate the resourcing needs for successful project implementation. Leveraging your deep understanding of our organization's HR landscape and enterprise context, you will assess the impact of change on the enterprise and HR. By developing and recommending success measures and OKRs, you will support the HR PMO in measuring project performance and milestones, aligning initiatives with overall strategies.

    You will outline funding requirements, dependencies, risks, and blockers, ensuring effective project coordination. By leveraging your strong communication skills, ability to synthesize inputs, and ability to flex up and down the organizational hierarchy, you will facilitate collaboration across teams, ensuring clear and comprehensive project documentation for successful project execution. Your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail shine through in your ability to provide accurate and timely support for project managers and stakeholders. You facilitate smooth project execution and enable alignment towards project success.

    Key Skills and Competencies for the Role:

    • Learning agility, discernment, and good judgment

    • Experience in or solid understanding of HR Tech, Data/Analytics, Shared Services, Embedded HR, and COEs

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to flex up and down organizationally and synthesize disparate inputs

    • Excellent organizational context, with the ability to build and maintain relationships

    • An analytical mindset and high business acumen; experience developing metrics to measure outcomes and activity

    • Open-mindedness and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and establish effective relationships

    • Self-direction and a proactive approach.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, HR, analytics)

    • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools

    • Strong proficiency in data analysis and OKR development

    • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus

    Compensation Range:

    Pay Range - Start:

    $73,570.00

    Pay Range - End:

    $136,630.00

    Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
