    Position summary

    ganization collaborates and partners with our sales engineering teams to recommend and design effective and appropriate customer solutions based on Nutanix offerings. We are looking to expand our team to include additional A-players who are looking to bring simplicity and efficiency to a complicated world.

    Your Role

    • Lead and inspire your existing sales team to foster growth and retention, with a focus on creating more satisfied customers within the Public Sector (Federal and SLED) marketplace.

    • Implement relationship management techniques to identify selling opportunities within partner organizations, break into new divisions and organizations within current partner accounts, and establish new direct selling relationships.

    • Utilize a consultative approach to address business issues with prospects, creating formal quotes, sales proposals, and presentations tailored to meet their specific needs.

    • Develop strategic account plans that align with customer business requirements to drive sales.

    • Cultivate and strengthen business relationships with current accounts and new prospects to promote long-term partnerships and growth.

    The primary focus is to spearhead the transformation of customers in the Federal and SLED sectors while building and retaining a top-tier sales team that collaborates with Channel Partners to sell Nutanix's Products and Solutions throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

    In your first year, your key objectives will include recommending effective marketing strategies, providing regular forecasts and pipeline information to the SVP Americas Sales, identifying customer references that can be utilized for reference selling, and offering valuable product feedback to engineering for continual improvement of Nutanix's complete block solution.

    • Communicate effectively with senior managers about business challenges and solutions

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, track record of exceeding sales quotas

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.

    About the Team

    Public Sector is a major contributor in the Americas Sales organization. It is a perennial strong performing business and the Federal business posted a recorded quarter in the current fiscal year. We have customers in the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian agencies, Intelligence Community, State & Local and Higher Education vertical markets.

    The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 468,960 and USD $ 703,440 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

    If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
