You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our Drive OS platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards and guidelines. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design Drive OS high-integrity software stacks and features

  • Perform safety analyses, such as software FMEA, DFA, CPA or equivalent

  • Optimize the software architecture to meet speed of light performance requirements while keeping robust and safe posture of the product

  • Specify and verify software design using state-of-the art formal verification methods and techniques

  • Consult on safety processes and methods across the broader NVIDIA software organization

  • Mentor teams and developers, promoting safety design and development practices

  • Support NVIDIA interaction with organizations working on safety standards.

What We Need to See:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of computer architectures, HW/SoC design and Operating Systems fundamentals

  • Functional safety experience

  • 10+ years of confirmed experience, with at least 5 years in safety-critical embedded systems developed under standards like ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C, or ASPICE

  • Excellent safe and secure coding programming skills in C/C++

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a multi-functional environment.

  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic environment across different geographies

Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:

  • Experience in Automotive AI/Autonomous Systems software
  • Cross-discipline design skills across safety, security and real-time domains
  • Experience with ARM based SoC architectures implementations
  • Practical knowledge in formal verification of software programs
