Work with health system customers on identifying care gaps and potential opportunities for both technical and process solutions aligned to customer capabilities
Serve as technical support to the broader Pfizer Oncology Account Management community to help them understand application of appropriate Health IT strategies, use of Health IT resources, and help assess Pfizer's needs related to the customer's needs and Health IT market evolution
Oncology HIT Solutions Account Director will develop RC approved, scalable, EHR enabled tools, and resources in relation to key therapeutic areas
Oncology HIT Solutions Account Director will understand and be a strategic thought partner within the Pfizer Account Team for regional and leading health system trends relating to care management evolution, quality, and value-based care initiatives that impact HIT implementation and governance.
Oncology HIT Solutions Account Director will serve as liaison across Business Units for Health IT related issues and inform overall Health IT strategy
Attend and share relevant insights from major Health IT conferences and Pfizer Health IT summits
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree required
Advanced degree and/or certifications in a Health IT/Informatics related strongly preferred
Significant experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology
Experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology required across in-patient and ambulatory settings
An understanding of the Health IT landscape including inter-relationships of the players within the Health IT space - vendors, third-party data sources, etc.
Hands - on experience with top Oncology EHR products preferred (e.g., Epic, Cerner, iKnowMed, OncoEMR, etc.)
An understanding of the impact of healthcare reform initiatives on the healthcare environment including Leading Health Systems, Pharma, Payers, etc.
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills are necessary to manage diverse needs, meet deadlines and monitor and evaluate results
Excellent presentation skills required
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
