    Position summary

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Work with Senior Director, Enterprise Communications & Colleague Engagement, and other communications leads to provide support in the following areas:

    • Lead the development and publication of content for PX News for colleagues, including managing editorial calendar, editing and/or collaborating on content submissions from subject matter experts, publishing content, and driving process and platform improvements

    • Using a strong familiarity with Pfizer's systems and organizational structure, develop and implement audience strategies for communications, ensuring that colleagues throughout the enterprise receive the most relevant and timely information

    • Support enterprise-wide communications, including senior leader initiatives, global town halls, meetings, & talking points

    • Create original written and video content, SharePoint pages

    • Provide expert counsel and execution on communications platforms - including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Amplify, and Connections - and on Pfizer's OnMessage platform for mass email distribution

    • With a strong eye for detail and accuracy, review, format, and send sensitive communications to enterprise-wide audiences from senior leaders

    • Edit written content submitted for publication via PX News and other enterprise channels

    • Pivot as needed to lead or support communications efforts; enterprise-wide organizational initiatives; special events; and global all-colleague broadcasts.

    • Lend creative perspective and insights to the broader team on projects and communications initiatives.

    • Coordinate with external communications partners to ensure alignment, as appropriate.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communications, English or related field

    • 5-7 years of experience in a communications role, preferably with demonstrated skills in developing, managing, and delivering metrics-driven communications strategies and plans in a large, complex organization.

    • Exceptional verbal, written and digital communication skills; ability to convey complex information to colleagues.

    • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing insight-driven, strategic and measurable internal communications programs.

    • Strong point of view about the value of communications, and ability to provide strategic counsel for a variety of communications scenarios and to a variety of internal stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and strategic, analytical and leadership capabilities.

    • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

    • Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with key internal stakeholders; influence/negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities a must.

    • Strong Microsoft product skills, particularly with Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams

    • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization and influence decisions with tact and confidence.

    • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive information and situations effectively.

    • Superior organizational skills: prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, solving problems, demonstrating flexibility.

    • Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration, and to contribute to a positive workplace.

    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Excellent communications professional with proven track-record of success in providing stellar, innovative communications support to organizations.

    • Demonstrated expertise in coaching and partnering with leaders.

    • Experience in healthcare/pharma sector preferred.

    • Strong design and video production skills and creativity.

    • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sector and health care industry.

    NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Infrequent travel required. Occasional work outside of standard working hours in special circumstances.

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
