Perform quantitative energy risk modeling, analyze and discuss various assumptions, inputs, fundamental, statistical and analytical data.
Prepare reports and presentations to explain and discuss model outputs and conclusions with senior management and collaboration teams.
Perform energy market exposure calculations, simulations and results analysis .
Develop a solid understanding of the energy market trading products, market rules and processes and implement solutions based on that understanding.
Compile, prepare and analyze various statistical/analytical data, reports, studies or projects.
Perform quantitative financial impact analysis on market participant portfolios deduced from results of power flow model
Perform market analysis, develop metrics and insights to support market and credit risk assessment.
Interact regularly with leadership and cross functional teams to understand strategic planning and operational changes.
Perform data mining functions.
Technical Skills: Production Cost model Simulation software, statistical software, and computer programming
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Required:
BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or equivalent work experience
At least 8 years of experience in the industry with experience using power system modeling
At least 5 years of experience in financial engineering in energy industry
At least 5 years of experience with Dayzer power system modeling an advantage
Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory
Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
