    Position summary

    and corresponding Manual 34 rules. The (Senior/Lead) Stakeholder Process Specialist possesses a working knowledge of current issues in the PJM stakeholder process, demonstrates critical thinking, and provides support for issue navigation through PJM's stakeholder process. The (Sr./Lead) Stakeholder Process Specialist also provides support for related tools and logistics.

    Essential Functions:**

    • Support / Develop and implement processes and tools to ensure timely and accurate performance of all aspects of the PJM stakeholder process.

    • Assist / Lead in the development and communication of effective strategies that support the continual evolution of the PJM Stakeholder Process.

    • Support PJM stakeholders, committees and internal functions to effectively address emerging issues.

    • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current issues in PJM's stakeholder process.

    • Coach PJM staff (committee chairs, facilitators, and/or secretaries) on PJM's Stakeholder Process Manual, effective facilitation techniques and the relevant tools/systems available.

    • Support / Lead the selection, development, and maintenance of training materials and guides on effective facilitation for PJM employees.

    • Support / Lead in the development and maintenance of documentation, reference materials and webpage content addressing PJM's stakeholder process for PJM employees and stakeholders.

    • Demonstrate the ability to present complex issues to senior management and stakeholders in support of a collaborative decision making process.

    • Serve as chair, secretary or facilitator for PJM member committees and other PJM stakeholder groups as needed.

    • Support / Administer the Voting Application - including the development of requirements for further enhancements and rigorous testing of all application changes.

    • Support / Administer the PJM Issue Tracking Management System - including the development of requirements for further enhancements and rigorous testing of all application changes.

    • Provide technical and user support for the stakeholder process related tools including the Voting Application, Roster Manager, and Issue Tracking.

    • Support the logistics, planning and coordination for PJM stakeholder meetings and other related events.

    • Demonstrate subject matter expertise with respect to Manual 34: PJM's Stakeholder Process and effective in supporting / providing procedural guidance.

    • Apply critical thinking to understand the unique nature of complex industry issues and support their navigation through the PJM stakeholder process.

    Characteristics and Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience

    • Experience using effective verbal and written communications skills

    • Ability to apply economic and statistical theory to complex market problems

    • Ability to visualize and solve complex problems

    • Experience with the PJM stakeholder process, committee meeting format as well as voting procedure

    Preferred:

    • Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions
    • Experience with industry issues as they apply to the PJM stakeholder processes
    • Experience with the PJM Stakeholder Process and PJM Agreements and Tariffs, especially as they apply to the PJM Stakeholder and Membership Application Processes
    • Experience with the PJM stakeholder process, committee meeting format as well as voting procedure
