    Position summary

    eporting to support the Institutional Retirement business with financial reporting and analysis on both a GAAP and Statutory results basis, including the development of management reports.

    What you can expect:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting results in accordance with GAAP and STAT standards and support the development of the quarterly Results Review Packages for actuals.

    • Analyze trends and variances across the different line items of the business segment income statements and balance sheets.

    • Support the preparation and analysis of SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings.

    • Facilitate quarterly and annual audits by both internal and external auditors.

    • Contribute to the successful execution of new strategic initiatives, continuous improvement and ad-hoc projects.

    • Help drive continuous enhancements and efficiencies in processes.

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.

    • 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, and analysis experience.

    • Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory accounting principles.

    • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under challenging time frames and to work overtime during peak periods.

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    It'd be a plus if you had:

    • CPA or MBA

    • Experience with Prudential Financial systems a plus (Oracle, Oracle BI, Essbase/SmartView, & other financial statement applications)

    • Knowledge of insurance products and accounting

    Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $92,400.00 to $137,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
