    We are currently seeking an outcomes-oriented and self-motivated individual to be part of the new Group Insurance Commissions team as a Commissions Manager. This role will report into the Commissions Lead and support activities related to the timely and accurate administration of compensation. The Commissions Manager will play a key role in the overall growth of the Group Insurance Commissions team and the policies and processes that support it.

    The current employee work arrangement for this position is fully virtual. While this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office.

    What you can expect:

    • Leading the commission administration process and working collaboratively across departments to develop policies and evolve processes.

    • Understanding sales compensation philosophy and business drivers of sales compensation plans

    • Ensuring commission calculations comply with plan design and policies

    • Identify and leading sales compensation policy changes

    • Resolving commission disputes and inquiries; addressing commission exception requests

    • Proactively identify challenges in the commission administration process and driving the implementation of improvements

    • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and attention to detail

    • Conducting analysis against multiple data sources to ensure commission payment systems are updated and in compliance with state Department of Insurance records.

    • Acting as a liaison between the company and the customer to resolve any issues related to commissions.

    • Generating producer related reports an queries and addressing discrepancies

    • Developing strong relationships with third party administrators as they pertain to on-boarding new business, servicing existing accounts and preparing accounts for renewal.

    • Supporting the approval and set up of self-administered accounts which may include reviewing contracts, requesting due diligence documents and evaluating data and other indicators of performance such as regulatory compliance.

    • Working with departments within Prudential on Commission best practices.

    • Researching and interpreting state Department of Insurance regulations and guidelines with assistance, as needed

    • Composing and preparing correspondence to agencies/producers/partners as it relates to commission processing

    • Participating in projects as they relate to commissions, and other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need:

    • 2+ years commissions experience

    • Ability to operate and drive change in a growing, constantly evolving environment

    • Ability to interpret compliance documentation and/or governmental regulations and disseminate this information

    • Intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Office

    • Experience with Salesforce, Sharepoint

    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

    • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

    • Excellent documentation skills.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,200.00 to $159,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
