    Position summary

    This individual will be encouraged to invest in the development of their own strategy skills, as well as in the strategy skills of an informal network of individuals more broadly across the enterprise. The individual in this role will report directly to the Vice President, Head of Core Strategy and will partner with Business Leaders, Finance, Treasury, and Corporate Development and the broader Corporate Strategy team on specific efforts.

    What you can expect:

    • Support strategic initiatives and drive project execution under ELT guidance.

    • Interface and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

    • Lead teams of Strategy members and business experts.

    • Develop and maintain a strategic valuation model linked to resource and capital allocation.

    • Align resource allocation with strategic goals and track progress.

    • Connect capital management processes with Global Finance, Actuarial, Risk, CIO, Global Technology, and Talent.

    • Integrate with finance, business, and other departments to enhance collaboration.

    • Introduce new ideas and external perspectives to the organization.

    • Develop and deliver training on capital and resource allocation with Treasury.

    • Foster an internal network of resource/capital allocation practitioners.

    • Serve as a thought leader to identify enterprise issues and opportunities.

    • Bring an enterprise perspective to business and functional initiatives.

    • Support the Global leadership team and Board in the strategy-setting process.

    • Assist in developing topics and agendas for Global leadership team and management committee meetings.

    • Synthesize and evaluate business strategies for enterprise impact.

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA designation a plus

    • Minimum of 5 years in corporate development, capital management, Financial planning & analysis, or consulting

    • Proven leadership skills with experience managing complex projects and cross functional teams

    • Strong quantitative skills and financial analysis skills and ability to apply corporate finance principals to various scenarios

    • Executive presentation skills including advanced visual storytelling and communication

    • Highly adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities in a project-oriented environment.

    What we offer you:

    Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $152,500.00 to $206,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
