    Position summary

    Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

    • Collaborate with technology, architecture, product management, and design teams to develop solutions to business challenges.

    • Craft original code for a comprehensive AWS-based API solution to support contract creation, ensuring software meets business requirements effectively.

    • Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes, along with conducting unit, automation, integration, regression, smoke, and functional testing to optimize software performance.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as necessary.

    • Support features across all environments and maintain thorough documentation.

    • Address code defects throughout its lifecycle and employ automation testing to ensure scalable development.

    The Skills & Expertise You Bring

    • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in a related field.

    • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

    • Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.

    • Ability to coach others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization.

    • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and new challenges.

    • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.

    Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following:

    • Strong back-end development skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.

    • Front-end development experience in React (preferred) or Angular.

    • Experience building scalable solutions in AWS.

    • Experience with SharePoint, Open Text, and/or Quadient is advantageous.

    What we offer you:

    Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $138,500.00 to $206,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
