    Position summary

    What you will do

    The PGIM Fixed Income Client Advisory Group (CAG) consists of sales, relationship management, product, client service and marketing. The team is global with individuals based in the US, Europe, and Asia. Responsible for all product, client, consultant and prospect activities, including business development, the team works closely with all divisions of PGIM Fixed Income.

    We are seeking to add an experienced Product Strategy Director who will be responsible for developing and executing on product strategy initiatives, with a focus on our growing alternative investment capabilities, such as hedge funds and private credit vehicles. This is a very visible role that will meaningfully impact the firm's bottom line.

    What you can expect

    • Develop a deep understanding of PGIM Fixed Income's capabilities, competitive advantages, and current investment strategy line-up

    • Help define and build the business case for new product strategy initiatives with a focus on alternative offerings, through assembling fact-based arguments and developing compelling presentations to senior management

    • Help monitor, anticipate and assess market, client, competitor and regulatory trends to drive product strategy and identify opportunities for product innovation

    • Assist with new product idea generation, with a focus on alternatives, by conducting primary and secondary research and competitive analyses (e.g., product performance, market positioning, etc.)

    • Synthesize research and develop concise and effective presentations

    • Build new tools utilizing state-of-the-art data techniques to automate reports and generate new business insights

    What you will bring

    • Degree in related studies with possible concentrations in Finance, Math, Engineering, or Operational Research - Financial Engineering

    • 5-10 years of relevant product strategy and development experience working for a leading financial institution or consultant.

    • Knowledge alternative pooled products preferred (Hedge Funds, Drawdown, etc.), their regulations and mechanics (liquidity, pricing, strategy)

    • Familiarity with extracting and analyzing data from Bloomberg, eVestment, Preqin and/or Morningstar Direct and their relevant APIs

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) used to clearly present complex business ideas

    Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $155,000 to $180,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
