PGIM has taken a strategic decision to aggressively pursue asset raising opportunities, particularly in the global retail markets where it has not been prominent to date. PGIM will develop relationships with third party distributors outside the US, with a primary focus on EMEA but also seeking opportunities in Asia, Japan & South America.
PGIM Investments plans to realize its growth opportunities in Europe by building regional teams to cover the largest addressable markets. As PGIM's asset management affiliates have separate sales team(s) who target institutional opportunities (sovereign wealth, pension, central bank) the Financial Intermediary Group (FIG) is keenly focused on UHNW intermediary opportunities, including private bank, family offices, unit linked, fund of funds and distribution platforms throughout the region(s).
As part of the firm's global expansion, PGIM Investments International is looking to hire a Distributor Relations and Service Vice President to help execute on servicing client assets and implementing distribution efficiencies across the UCITS fund platform. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Operations and will be based in the firm's satellite office in London on a hybrid basis.
PGIM has sales professionals located in EMEA, LatAm and APAC and this role will support both Intermediary/Wholesale and Institutional clients.
What you can expect
Stakeholder management with distribution teams from each of the PGIM affiliates to facilitate effective communication of client intelligence between sales teams and the rest of the business.
Oversee and manage the client experience with respect to account opening, client onboarding, and trade related events.
Support new business opportunities through the RFP process and development of business cases.
Maintain CRM and agreements databases and be able to report on distribution footprint and requirements.
Project manage distribution agreements and side letters with operations, legal, distribution and management.
Proactive engagement with key distributors to both attract them to PGIM as a fund provider and ensure that once live, PGIM is a priority and strong relationship develops.
Help design and implement scalable practices to onboard and service client assets and help execute against shareholder servicing requirements.
Assist with management level reporting of distribution and client activities.
Serve as 'back office' contact for client service needs, including contacting clients with service requirements, and helping to establish a scalable communication method for all board and investment team/product related notifications which may affect distributors and their investors.
Assist with project plans to help build distribution infrastructure.
What you will bring
Outstanding financial services experience, preferably within a Client Service/ Sales Support capacity.
Understanding of Private and Public Asset classes.
Understanding of Intermediary distribution, including knowledge of key firms.
In depth client service & stakeholder management skills.
Strong project management capabilities.
High energy, enthusiastic, high quality interpersonal skills, especially influencing and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, work collaboratively in team environment as well as independently as a self-starter at times.
Excellent ability to utilise Excel, PowerPoint and Word programs.
Some travel required (Europe & U.S.)
What will set you apart?
Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferable.
Additional Language skills would be an advantage.
