    Our Role:

    The candidate will be given an opportunity to work in Portfolio Management team, which manages a number of funds. The fund invests in key real estate markets in the Asia Pacific such as Australia, China, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. Through the course of internship, the candidate will be given an introduction to commercial real estate investment concepts and processes in contemporary portfolio management, including analysis of decisions to sell or hold. Moreover, the candidate will be involved in the fundraising process of a newly established value-add fund, and will be tasked with various quantitative and qualitative performance and attribution analyses.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of all fund documents, presentations and deliverables, such as quarterly reporting, and other ad-hoc investor reporting materials. This responsibility will entail coordination with other functional groups including Transaction, Asset Management, and Fund Operation teams, editing materials and preparing power point slides / email communication

    • Participate in the launch and marketing of a new fund which includes preparation of presentation decks, research and financial analysis

    • Assist in the evaluation of new acquisitions/dispositions made by the Fund. This responsibility includes reviewing financial analysis and preparing asset information and investment memorandums, while coordinating with other functional groups, including Transactions and Asset Management

    • Assist in the submission of the GRESB survey for Environmental, Social and Governance benchmarking

    • Provide support for the updating of fund reporting models/templates and workflow efficiency initiatives

    • Address any other ad-hoc duties required by the Portfolio Management team

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint

    • Comfortable with handing large amounts of data

    • Good understanding of fundamental finance and accounting principles

    • Real Estate knowledge is advantageous but not a must

    • Fast-learner; Strong attention to details; Disciplined work ethic
