    What you will do

    The Portfolio Administration Claims Associate is responsible for providing middle and back office operational support to the PGIM Fixed Income business. This includes serving as a member of the portfolio administration reconciliation team, as the lead associate responsible for claims management. The Analyst acts as a main point of contact for internal and external business partners for all aspects of the claims phase of the trade life cycle. The individual in this role is knowledgeable in operational support requirements, fixed income products, international markets and industry claims procedures.

    What you can expect

    • Daily support and technical support of the Claims management (including broker and custodian claims, factor coupon update collection, TMPG) and related operations and reporting.

    • Possess working knowledge of custody and cash operations, preferably Fixed Income, including familiarity with global settlements and impact to cash balance reporting.

    • Facilitating claim flow processes and ensuring external parties are claimed within industry guideline (ie ISITC, TMPG claims procedures)

    • Support the claims identification and investigation process. and effectively resolve charges impacting Fixed Income clients

    • Serving as primary liaison between the internal operations team and external custodian banks and counterparties (broker dealers)

    • Support local projects and enhancement initiatives for the team

    • Providing timely resolution to operational issues raised by critical business partners

    • Developing and monitoring daily claim status reports including weekly and aged claims data

    • Gathering and/or analyzing key metrics with regards to activity

    • Help maintain departmental policies, guidelines and procedures

    • Help mitigate risk and enhance controls

    • Proactively seeking ways to improve current processes by leveraging the tools available to identify inefficiencies.

    • Cultivating both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved for each fund supported

    What you will bring

    • Experience in Operational role or Finance industry

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or relevant areas

    • Strong knowledge of global markets, trade lifecycle and industry technology

    • Solid understanding of application of business risk & operational controls

    • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment

    • Able to multi-task and absorb information across a broad spectrum of products

    • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment

    • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

    • Solid understanding of application of business risk & operational controls
