What you can expect:
The Tax Analyst will provide tax guidance to Prudential's Product areas, which include Individual Life Insurance, Group Insurance, Retirement Strategies, Asset Management, as well as the Corporate Centers (including Benefits, Compensation and Payroll).
Main Responsibilities:
Communicating IRS requirements to business partners,
Assisting with implementation of new IRS guidance
Ensuring products and services comply with all tax rules.
Serve as a liaison between Corporate Tax and the applicable Business Group(s) and support business activity to ensure compliance with the tax rules.

Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience working in a Prudential operation, product, legal, compliance or risk area
Other information:
Applicants are not required to have product tax knowledge when applying for this position. However, the successful candidate must have a willingness to expand technical tax skills, as well as the flexibility to move from supporting one Business Group to another.
Technical and operational knowledge of the tax rules related to insurance and financial management products, including federal, state and local tax information reporting and withholding rules is helpful.
Legal, compliance or risk, as well as operations or product background is helpful
Travel to other Prudential locations may be required

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $76,000.00 to $125,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
