Manage the day-to-day governance of tax data
Responsible for ongoing maintenance of tax software tools and processes
Translate tax requirements to ERP and software system/functional requirements; work with internal teams and developers to implement, test, and deliver solutions
Manage tax department's relationship with core financial (SAP) systems
Create process documentation and drive process improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, degree focus in (Tax, Finance, Accounting, General Business), Masters preferred
CPA preferred
Minimum of 8 years' experience in public accounting and/or private industry working in tax
Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Income Tax compliance (OIT) or similar software
Proficiency in using technology to maximize tax function effectiveness
Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships preferred
Strong income tax provision background
ERP experience, including SAP or similar
Experience with process design and/or improvement, preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, required
Ability to work with cross functional teams and proactively seek solutions or suggest improvement
Strong leadership, project management, organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work on multiple ongoing projects
Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills and ability to utilize creative and innovative approaches in problem solving
A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $105,000.00 - $181,000.00. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
