Whether you bring managerial expertise or engineering prowess, your role will be vital in developing and implementing O&M strategies to ensure the growth of our projects.
Your future plans:
Lead and steer the development and implementation of our offshore O&M strategies in the USA, acting for development projects and ensuring alignment with the global vision of Offshore Operations.
Represent Offshore Operations as the O&M Implementation Manager on specific projects within the USA and work closely with other USA and globally based O&M Implementation Managers to ensure consistency of approach and continuous improvement.
Building local, regional and international O&M networks, developing trusted internal and external relationships with prospective project partners, and promoting the development of local supply chains to deliver offshore O&M capabilities.
Exploring and developing O&M synergies globally, with particular focus on the USA market.
Management and evaluation of design concepts, technical solutions and risks as well as preparation of decision papers for technical and commercial decisions.
Ensure continuous exchange on the operational concepts of offshore development projects and the wider operations organization
Oversee, from tender document production to supplier negotiations and contract delivery.
Be responsible for the delivery schedule of the O&M package, identifying technical, commercial and program issues and solutions to resolve
Demonstrate commitment to establishing hard-working teams and creating an enjoyable and rewarding place to work
Your profile:
An educational background at degree level, ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering, project management, relevant business/finance disciplines, or equivalent experience in the offshore wind sector or a related field.
Professional experience of at least 5 years
Proven project management experience leading small teams on high value projects
Professional experience in operations of offshore or onshore wind farms, offshore oil & gas, energy, or similar industries
Experience in international business development preferred
Effective communication and leadership skills, team oriented with excellent analytical skills, an eye for detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
High level of integrity, reliability, proactiveness, and structured way of working
Familiar with USA regulatory and HSE regulations and compliance is highly preferred, and with a specific HSE culture focus in an industrial environment
Ability to work offshore and to work at height
Experience and ability to work in a multi-cultural team
Based in the Boston, Ma. US with travel between US states, and occasional business trips to UK, APAC and EU.
