Key Responsibilities:

• Support the technical definition, evaluation, planning, reporting and interfacing of the transport and installation activities including load in/out operations at manufacturers/marshalling port(s), transportation and installation of components, including handover(s), all in compliance with industry and company standards, and Health, Safety and Environment regulations and guidelines.

• Installation Engineering - Confirming method statements, risk assessments, lift plans, safety procedures, permits to work and related documents for all loading, transportation and offshore work is in place

Tasks to be performed:

• HSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation and maintenance

• Evaluation of potential ports as port for storage and load out of foundations

• Prepare and execute relevant documents for the installation ITT Technical evaluation of Transportation and Installation proposals during tender stage

• Support of the Contract manager in the preparation of variation orders and claims

• Follow up the preparation for execution activities and required interfaces, and support on technical aspects of the transportation and installation.

• Coordinate within the project of assignment, as well as across-projects (with similar roles in other projects) to ensure delivery as per objectives and company standards (including but not limited to).

• Review method statements and risk assessments and produce comments sheets.

• Perform or oversee engineering calculations

• Advise on the contract technical requirements,

• Write the technical specifications,

• Assess the technical aspects of tenders

• Assist the Engineering Manager with tasks associated with ensuring a safe design and give advice to risk and programme reviews

• Provide input to the risk and programme analysis.

• Respond to technical queries or interface with other packages/Contractors to resolve queries

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct experience supporting offshore Wind projects

• Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of offshore foundations in either the Offshore Wind Energy industry or Oil & Gas

• Engineering background with strong knowledge in marine transportation and installation incl. selection of the right tools

• Potential areas of work: transportation and installation of monopiles (impact hammer, drill), noise mitigation, noise monitoring; installation of transition pieces and/or secondary steel structures; installation of subsea cables; installation of wind turbines
